Catch-up learning over the summer holidays

Summer holiday one-to-one tuition sessions for children in Key Stages 2 to 4 who:

• already receive regular tuition and would benefit from more,

• don't receive tuition and could benefit from a boost,

or

• have missed school and need help.

This tuition does not cover the curriculum but more general study skills, literacy and maths.

Helen Arkell specialist teachers understand that each pupil is different. Based on your child’s strengths and the areas they find difficult, the teacher will develop individual multi-sensory lessons to support particular areas of need.

Helen Arkell specialist teachers have been trained in teaching children with specific learning difficulties such as dyslexia. They also receive regular continuing professional development (CPD) and the support of the senior professional staff at Helen Arkell. Each of our specialist teachers has a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check.

Where?

Tuition takes place at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre in West Street, Farnham, Surrey.

When?

Over the summer holidays, Monday to Thursday between 25 July and 24 August.
