Helen Arkell Dyslexia Specialist Teachers/Tutors - Primary/Secondary/Adult
Paid per tuition/coaching session
Essential: BDA/OCR (or equivalent) Accredited Level 5 Diploma in Teaching Learners with Dyslexia/SpLD
Prepare and deliver specialist tuition/coaching sessions, based on client’s needs and strengths
• Be prepared to deliver sessions face to face or by video call, depending on individual circumstances
• Liaise with parents/carers/client’s school/other stakeholders/workplaces as required
• Provide information relating to tuition/coaching sessions to Helen Arkell administrative and professional staff, according to Helen Arkell protocol
• Provide regular/termly feedback and reviewed learning targets, according to Helen Arkell protocol
• Attend annual Helen Arkell Specialist Teachers’ Day
• Be committed to safeguarding the physical, emotional and mental well-being of young people
