Helen Arkell is one of the leading UK dyslexia charities. We are passionate about removing barriers to learning and life for people with specific learning difficulties and many people see their first contact with us as a life-changing moment.
We are committed to further increasing our reach and impact over the next five years, and in order to achieve this, we are recruiting for the important role of Fundraising Officer.
As the Fundraising Officer, you'll be responsible for supporting the planning and execution of stewardship programmes, fundraising campaigns, events and community fundraising.
We're looking for a creative all-rounder, with previous experience of individual, community and events fundraising. If you're a specialist in a specific area but are willing to dip into other areas of fundraising we’d love to hear from you.
A strong drive to increase income is a must, along with the ability to be self-driven and at least two years fundraising experience.
The role offers the flexibility of working from home as well as from our Farnham office.
Ideally full time (35 hours per week), but we are happy to discuss part time hours. We also offer flexibility around working patterns and can discuss this at the interview.
Candidates are encouraged to apply as soon as possible as applications will be considered upon submission.
Please see the attached application pack for full details about the role and how to apply.
