Learning Support Teacher
Part time (3 days per week)
Cranmore is a leading independent school in Surrey having taught prep school pupils for 50 years. In September 2019, Cranmore joined the Effingham Schools Trust resulting in the widening of the provision to offer education for pupils age 2 to 18.
The school has a wonderful 25 acre site and is blessed with fantastic facilities. Combined with its sister school, St. Teresa’s, the Trust has 1,000+ pupils and £20m+ assets. In our inspection report, February 2022, we were rated ‘excellent’ in all areas of educational quality and inspectors noted that ‘Pupils with SEND and EAL achieve very well due to high levels of support and timely interventions’.
We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced SpLD teacher, with a Level 5 or 7 qualification, to teach individual and small groups in Key Stages 2 and 3. The job will involve working alongside the teachers and departmental staff to provide effective intervention support for pupils. The Department is very well resourced, and we combine to be a supportive team. We are looking for a candidate to be a full and active member of the teaching staff at Cranmore three days per week.
To apply please complete the application form and return it together with a covering letter (addressed to the Headmaster). Please see information for applicants.
