Dyslexia workplace skills development

Workplace skills training is designed to help your employee develop skills and strategies, together with an awareness of how and when they might be used. This means that, given time to practise, your employee will be able to take the most efficient approach to a task.

The training will be designed to meet your employee’s specific needs within the context of his/her job role. We have experience working with employees in a wide variety of situations. For example this might include:

  • Office environments
  • Creative roles
  • Public services
  • Teaching
  • Construction industry

The list below provides examples of some of the workplace skills that might be taught:

  • Organisation, time management, planning and project management
  • Reading skills
  • Writing skills
  • Giving presentations
  • Coping with interviews
  • Note taking skills
