Dyslexia training for employers and staff

How will Dyslexia Awareness Training help?

Awareness training enables employers and employees to develop a good understanding of dyslexia and this in turn provides a network of support. Every business that employs more than 10 people will be benefiting from employees that think differently. To maximise the benefits it is helpful for everyone to gain a greater understanding.

There are various ways to achieve this and the best one is to provide different levels of training:

  • The whole organisation
  • Managers
  • Human Resources & Occupational Health
  • Promotion and recruitment boards
  • IT departments

We can tailor training to meet your individual needs but the following example of content may help:

  • What is dyslexia?
  • How might it impact on particular workplace settings
  • Strengths of thinking differently
  • Adjustments in the workplace, focusing on solutions and not problems. Sometimes the simplest changes can make the greatest difference.
