Anna is a qualified specialist teacher and SpLD assessor. She qualified originally as a teacher of Modern Foreign Languages in 1995 and taught German and French in state secondary schools. She has also taught in a primary school in Brunei Darussalam.
While her children were young, she stepped away from teaching for several years to work as a freelance translator, and is a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists. She returned to work in education after completing the Level 5 course at HADC, and followed this with a Level 7 course in Assessment Methodology at Bath Spa University.
Anna works as a specialist teacher in a boarding prep school in Dorset, and is very happy to have the opportunity to work as a specialist assessor for HADC. She enjoys the varied nature of her work, and is dedicated to helping to ensure that all students can uncover and achieve their potential.
