Tammy Jeanes

Tammy Jeanes BSc (Hons), Dip OCR (SpLD), APC

Tammy is a qualified specialist teacher and assessor who completed the Level 5 and Level 7 training at the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre. She regularly attends face to face training events, takes part in webinars and reads about specific learning difficulties to ensure her skills are current.

Tammy particularly enjoys carrying out diagnostic assessments as believes they are a positive first step towards understanding and supporting strengths and challenges.

Tammy's interest in dyslexia began ten years ago, whilst supporting her own family. As a parent she understands the challenges and concerns specific learning differences can create in school, and everyday tasks, and the positive impact specialist support can make.

Tammy has worked within KS1 and KS2 for many years and currently provides private specialist tuition for primary and secondary pupils.

In her previous career, she worked as a statistician.
