This course is designed for professionals who would like to update and extend their ability to carry out and write diagnostic assessments. The course includes a combination of lectures, discussion and practical activities.
Level 7 qualification in assessing learners with SpLD or equivalent.
Participants will have the opportunity to develop their knowledge in the following areas:
In addition, participants will gain experience of a broad range of tests including: WRIT, WRAML-2, CTOPP-2, TAPS-3, WIAT-IIUK-T, WRAT-4, TOWRE-2, DRA, HAST-2, DASH
The course is accredited by the SpLD Assessment Standards Committee (SASC) and therefore suitable for the core hours of Continued Professional Development, which will be required when renewing Assessment Practising Certificates (APC). The course is delivered by experienced assessors and tutors from the Helen Arkell Centre.
N.B. Both sessions must be attended in order to meet the learning outcomes of the course.

The course takes places over two days:
