This free workshop is designed to help you to gain an understanding of the individual and different ways of thinking experienced by adults with dyslexia. Approximately 10% of the population are dyslexic. This means that you are highly likely at some stage in your career to meet and work with colleagues that are dyslexic, or you may experience dyslexia yourself.
By the end of the workshop we will have explored:
• Dyslexia: thinking differently, benefits and challenges
• How we might recognise the characteristics of dyslexia
• How we might support dyslexic colleagues
• What is meant by reasonable adjustments
Sometimes the simplest changes can make the greatest difference.
