Children with dyslexia face many challenges and they often need extra support – not just in school work, but in all aspects of life. Libraries in and around Basingstoke have brought together five experts to cover a range of topics offering advice and strategies for you and your children.
Calling Employers to respond. The Westminster AchieveAbility Commission on dyslexia & neurodivergence will investigate the barriers to employment and identify recruitment processes that disadvantage neurodivergent people.
We are seeking a well-qualified, enthusiastic and experienced teacher, with a Level 7 qualification in SpLD or equivalent, to join our well established and highly regarded Progress Department. The successful candidate will be required to support pupils with SpLD in Literacy and Maths on a 1:1 basis and coordinate the learning support for the senior pupils in our school. The post provides an excellent opportunity for professional development and to be able to contribute to the ongoing success of this department.
