Disability Talking: Stories of Disability at Work.

A Cardiff Business School Public Value Project

"Melanie Jones and Victoria Wass launched their film, Disability Talking, at the ESRC Cardiff Festival of Social Science (in November 2016). In this film which covers examples of both innovative supports and traditional barriers at work, Meseret Kumculchew describes the impact of dyslexia, her experience at work and the treatment she received from her employer, which led to her claim for disability discrimination.

An expert panel, including her legal team, discusses the extent and nature of disability disadvantage at work, employers’ legal obligations under the Equality Act 2010 to provide reasonable adjustments and the supports available to help dyslexic employees."
