We are currently experiencing a particularly high demand for dyslexia assessments due to the effects of Covid-19 on schooling and working arrangements. In many cases this is causing a long lead time between initial enquiry and the undertaking of the Helen Arkell assessment. Some forms of assessment currently have a 6-month waiting time.
We are in the process of building our operational capacity, but in the meantime, we can only apologise for this long wait. Our administration team are working as hard as they can, but are struggling to cope with unprecedented levels of initial enquiries at this time.
We sincerely hope that normal service will be resumed once we have successfully recruited and trained more dyslexia assessors.
