Dyslexia Support for Norwegian Teenagers

Norwegian dyslexic teenagers

Last Friday, Julia (Rowlandson) and I said goodbye to the second of two groups of Norwegian teenagers that left Guildford after a fabulous week packed with great learning opportunities for improving their English.

The scheme is a collaboration between the HADC and Dyslexia Norway. As always, the students formed new friendships and were brilliant at supporting each other in and outside of the classroom. They worked incredibly hard every day and their English came on in leaps and bounds.

During the week we covered areas such as sound work, spelling/grammar/creative writing, speaking and listening, study skills and learning styles. This year we had a large number of returning students and we hope to welcome both new and familiar faces next year.

Best of luck to them all!
