Learning Support Teacher

Contract type: Self-employed – invoice parent directly.
Rate: £45 per hour
We are looking for a Learning Support Teacher who will provide one to one lessons to pupils with a Specific Learning Difficulty (Dyslexia) requiring additional support. This support will be privately funded by the parents in order to enable their child to access all areas of the school curriculum and enhance his/her achievement.
The ideal candidate will be required to work under the guidance of the Head of Learning Support (Prep) using the strategies recommended in the Personal Support Plan.

• Someone who has the OCR level 5 qualification or is working towards it.
• A dedicated, hardworking professional with experience of working with pupils with additional needs.

This post is a flexible contract between the Learning Support teacher and the parents to support a learner with a Specific Learning Difficulty (Dyslexia)attending the school, and if the support hours for this learner reduces, or the learner leaves the school the contract hours will also be reduced or ended.
