Learning Support Teacher
We are pleased to present an exciting opportunity for a qualified, conscientious and ambitious SEND teacher to work in our highly valued Learning Support department. The successful applicant should be confident and capable of working alongside a professional team, with energy and enthusiasm, to get involved in all aspects of prep school life and learning. The SEND teacher will be able to support SEN pupils, and experience of teaching EAL pupils would be of benefit. The role will involve specialist teaching to small groups and individuals, from Pre-Prep to Year 8.
You will need to hold a Level 5 SpLD qualification, and will be proactive in providing gentle support and guidance to anyone who needs it. You will need to excel at communicating in a diplomatic but professional manner with parents and children alike, as well as colleagues and governors of the School. The support given will help children of all abilities achieve high standards academically.
The post is offered as a permanent, full time from September 2020.
Salary will be based on qualifications, experience and the successful applicant's ability to contribute to the life of the School.
