The Helen Arkell Dyslexia Centre Board of Trustees are delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Cook as the new chief executive. Andy will join us in October.
A Cambridge graduate, Andy has continuously worked in the not for profit sector. He has spent the last eight years as chief executive of the assistance dogs charity, Canine Partners.
The trustees are thrilled to have found someone who is so capable of delivering the vision for the future of our work and is so in tune with our values at Helen Arkell.
Andy Cook said "I absolutely love the cause at Helen Arkell. And I love the fact that everyone I've met is clearly so determined to make our services more available to more people, both children and adults. I can't wait to join the team and to meet the whole Helen Arkell family as well as the wider community of organisations and individuals working in the field of dyslexia. We have an exciting future ahead of us!"
We are looking forward to welcoming Andy to Helen Arkell.
