With our long and successful reputation for supporting children, adults, parents, carers, educators and employers we are pleased to offer even more support through a new hub in Oxford.
The Oxford Hub, based in Summertown, is led by Rachael McMullen, a qualified specialist teacher and assessor, and Special Educational Needs Coordinator of 10 years, in a specialist school for students with dyslexia and other specific learning difficulties.
''I feel honoured and excited to be given the chance to provide support, guidance and empowerment by leading the Oxford Hub of the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.'' Rachael McMullen, Hub Coordinator.

Through the services offered by the hub, people with dyslexia can gain help in developing strategies to overcome their challenges whilst maximising their strengths and talents, in keeping with the Helen Arkell vision of Believe, Achieve, Succeed.
''The assessment has made the world of difference. I now have a different son! He's happier, more confident. He realises he's not alone and he's not stupid. It's helped with family life and it's given the teachers the facts they need to know to help him in his education. I wish I had got him tested sooner. I can't thank you enough.''
''I want to thank all of you at Helen Arkell for your help and support. Today's consultation has lifted a huge weight and has shown me the light at the end of a very long tunnel.''
