Our Unlock Dyslexia Christmas Appeal

Help unlock the power of dyslexia this Christmas

As Christmas looms, can you help me respond to a pile of requests for urgent, potentially life-changing dyslexia support?

The impact of dyslexia and other Specific Learning Difficulties (SpLDs) on a child depends on whether or not they have access to diagnosis and support. For those who don't, it can limit their education, their self-esteem, their life chances.

But sadly, 80% of dyslexic children at school right now are undiagnosed and unsupported. There is no government or statutory funding available for dyslexia.

Which is why I need your urgent help. Please help unlock dyslexia for a child this Christmas – make a donation today.

The need is huge, and we rely on supporters like you to ensure no one with dyslexia is left behind. People like Grace…

Grace shied away from learning at school, but thanks to the availability of a bursary funded by supporters like you, she was diagnosed at Helen Arkell.

Meet Grace in our Appeal video here:

Today, Grace is excelling as a neuroscientist, and has recently started a PhD.

As a charity, we depend on donations to ensure more dyslexic people can access the help they need, regardless of financial circumstances, age, or location. Here’s how your gift today could help:

£10 could help offer dyslexia advice and information to a struggling family.

£25 could help towards an assessment for a disadvantaged child.

£50 could help train teachers at a school and benefit countless children.

Please donate via the link today. The first 30 people to respond will receive a special key decoration as a small token of our huge appreciation.

Thank you so much for your support of the Helen Arkell Dyslexia Charity.
