Downsend is an innovative, forward-thinking independent school, for children aged two to sixteen. At Downsend, we prepare children for the future with a creative and problem-solving approach to learning that inspires young minds.
Downsend is seeking an experienced, well-qualified and enthusiastic Senior School SENCO to develop and lead the Learning Support Team at a time of exciting growth for the school. Working with the Head of Senior School, the SENCO will implement the SEN and Disability Policy across Downsend Senior School and help to create a new Learning Support hub in the expanded Senior Teaching block. This new role will be for 20-25 hours per week (flexibility on hours will be discussed at interview), and hours are likely to increase as the school expands.
