Support our 2019 London Marathon Runners!
We have 7 amazing runners training hard to run an epic 26.2 miles in this year's marathon on Sunday 28th April.
We are so grateful for their help raising funds to support children and adults with dyslexia and wish them all the best of luck!
If you could donate a few pounds to spur them on please click on the links below to find out more about their marathon stories.
Michelle Battleday - I am running the London Marthon for each and every student that I have had the privilege of working with!

Ed Currie - Why have I decided to commit to the crazy idea of running a marathon? To help dyslexia to be seen as an advantage - 'different' really is extraordinary!

Kate FitzGerald - I consider myself very fortunate for the support we have received from Helen Arkell yet many others need to be offered similar support as the dyslexic spectrum is vast and often challenging to manage and can be costly. In 2019 I am running the Virgin London Marathon & riding the Prudential 100. Read more and support Kate here
Vicky Hollingsworth - I am taking the plunge and running the London Marathon in 2019 for the Helen Arkell Dyselxia Charity. This is very close to my heart as my son is dyslexic. Read more and support Vicky here
Ben Knowles - I teach violin to two sisters, one with dyslexia, and she has recently started to be hampered by this and it has damaged her confidence. It is clear that Helen Arkell value finding ways to help children with dyslexia achieve their potential in ways that mainstream education doesn't always have the means to do. Guy Thomas - For anyone who knows me (and especially anyone who’s run with me), you’ll know this is a massive challenge for me. This is my Everest and I’m going to need all the support I can get. Read more and support Guy here
Julia Woodham-Smith - I'm running to raise money for an amazing charity that is very close to my heart. The help they've given my daughter has played such an important role in helping her understand that her struggles are for a reason and it has enabled us to get extra support for her. She works so hard at being the best she can be. I'm so proud of her - she is so determined and never gives up - hopefully something I can live up to!
