Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Autistic Spectrum Disorder are terms used to describe a range of Learning, Behavioural and Socialisation differences.  The key to providing successful outcomes for individuals with ADHD and ASD will be a full understanding and acceptance of the needs of every child.

Areas to be addressed in the session include:

ADHD and ASD demystified 

Girls and Boys and ADHD and ASD

Teaching and learning strategies  

Behaviour management options

Dealing with bullying and socialisation issues 

Consideration of the role of medication in learning and behaviour  

Effective communication with parents of children with ADHD and ASD
